Our Mission
The Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation exists to serve the Central Florida Marine Corps community by preserving Marine Corps traditions, building a lasting legacy for the next generation of heroes, and ensuring every Marine and Marine family has a voice in our shared future.

Our Purpose
In support of our mission, the Foundation is committed to strengthening the military community and honoring those who serve through the following efforts:

Promoting the social welfare and general well being of current and former Marines, their families, and members of the other United States Armed Forces and their families

Providing scholarships to deserving undergraduate students based on academic achievement, community service, and demonstrated Marine Corps core values

Sponsoring and participating in patriotic events and activities, including the annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball and Ceremony in the Central Florida area
-
Assisting disabled and needy veterans, active duty service members, and their dependents, as well as widows and orphans of deceased service members
-
Providing care, assistance, and opportunities for connection and entertainment for veterans and active duty service members

Supporting programs that honor and preserve the memory of fallen service members while providing comfort and support to their survivors

Supporting youth development and educational initiatives

Providing social and recreational activities that foster camaraderie and esprit de corps among our members
Membership Types
The Central Florida Marine Corps Foundation offers several ways to be involved, depending on your background and connection to the military community.
Regular Voting Members
Regular Members are individuals with a direct connection to the United States Armed Forces. Eligibility includes:

Past or present members of the United States Marine Corps or another branch of the United States Armed Forces

Cadets enrolled in college or university ROTC programs or students attending United States Service Academies
-
Spouses, widows, widowers, ancestors, or lineal descendants of past or present members of the United States Armed Forces or eligible cadets
Regular Members have voting rights within the Foundation and are counted toward maintaining the Foundation’s 501(c)(19) status.
Affiliated Voting Members
Affiliated Members are individuals who may not meet the minimum military connection requirements for Regular Membership but who support the mission and purpose of the Foundation.

Affiliated Voting Members must be approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors

Affiliated Voting Members have voting rights within the Foundation
Foundation Partners
Foundation Partners are individuals or organizations that wish to support the Foundation but do not seek voting membership.

Foundation Partners may be individuals or entities

Approval by a majority vote of the Board of Directors is required

Foundation Partners do not have voting rights and are not considered members for purposes of maintaining the Foundation’s 501(c)(19) status

Membership Standards
All memberships are granted by a majority vote of the Board of Directors to individuals or entities that support the mission and purpose of the Foundation.
To maintain compliance with federal requirements and preserve our 501(c)(19) status:

At least 75 percent of members must be past or present members of the United States Armed Forces
-
At least 97.5 percent of members must have a direct connection to the United States Armed Forces, including service members, eligible cadets, or their spouses, widows, or widowers
We welcome those who share our commitment to honor service, strengthen community, and uphold the values of the United States Marine Corps.

Exclusive Access:
➤Members may be eligible to receive complimentary tickets to select CFMCF events, including the Scholarship Presentation and Partner Appreciation Reception in May and the Birthday Ball Partner and Sponsor Reception. Tickets are limited and available on a first-response, RSVP-required basis for CFMCF members only. Members will also receive direct communications regarding Marine Weekend activities, including the Marine Corps Birthday Ball, Casino Night, and the Annual Golf Tournament.

Monthly PME & Social
Join us the third Wednesday of the month (excluding November & December) for an exclusive Primary Military Education from 1500-1600 right before our networking social. Each month we will have opportunities to hear about current events with the Marine Corps that effect our community., Presentations from Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), Recruiting Station Orlando (RSO) 6th Marine Corps District, Motor Transport Co, Combat Logistics Bn 451, 4th Marine Logistics Group, and a couple reverse industry presentations with PMTRASYS. After the PME we will host our exciting Happy Hour Networking Event! Connect with fellow members, Marine Corps supporters, and professionals from various industries.
